"Infectious groovy brand of gritty garage soul rock"

Gabriel Rowland

is an established producer/Writer/Drummer. He started his musical map behind the kit for L.A’s soul /funksters "MOMMA STUD" (Virgin), with highlights that included a French tour sharing the bill with Nirvana. The next leg of the journey found him as writer/producer and drummer for LA's first trip-hop band "GUADALOOP" who did a 14-day tour for Fiona Apple, and opened for Morcheeba, Sneaker Pimps and James Brown at Santa Barbra Bowl. Further on down the road he founded “THE PEAK SHOW” (Atlantic) continued as writer/producer and drummer/dj for the band. Gabe worked alongside longtime pal Mario Caldato Jr. (Beastie Boys, Jack Johnson) to co-produce the record. The Peak Show success garnered a relationship with Warner Special Marketing and thus started his song placement tenure with the songs: Stupid Little Fellow (Malcolm in the Middle, Grind, Scary Movie 3, and Ice Age 2 movie/TV trailers), Flow (CSI), ODay (CSI: Miami), Stolen Kisses (Cinderella Story). 2015 brings him as founder, co-producer and writer for Gospeldelic "DREAMING BULL." Recently featured on Carson Daly, radio airplay on Los Angeles' KROQ and KCSN, video featured on Billboard Magazine and TV/Commercial placements for Suits, Sears and Verizon. He’s currently working with several commercial music houses including Hitlist Music writing and producing library tracks, out of his own music shack called GABBY ROWD STUDIOS. (Where he is able to be a "genre-tician.") Current projects include: co-writing and production with songstress Amy Correia (Capitol), the soulful bluesy Dashira Zahnaya, poetic genius of rapper Donlori and recently mastered double album for world renowned artist Addi Somekh. A few top-secret projects in the works - Gabe is an inexhaustible believer in what he calls "That fat ass magic".

Nic Capelle

"Nic is one of a kind, or at least one in literally a million. Every song, production, lyric and performance is immaculately crafted, extraordinarily creative and from the heart."
                                              — Jim Webber, HITLIST MUSIC

Born on the sun-drenched West Australian coast, it didn't take an imagination-filled kid like Nic long to realize he wanted  to move beyond his roots in search of opportunity. First in London, now in LA, he works hard to craft sonically unique or re-invented approaches to familiar sounds.  From dirty blues tones to foot-stomping beats and inspired lyrics, it's a need that drives him and not just a vocation.

"Nic Capelle’s talent as a musician and an artist makes him a unique and very exciting director. Nic creates a visual style and incorporates a narrative that complements the music, bringing the art forms together to work symbiotically."
                                                             — Denson Baker, ASC

It's only natural that Nic's music flows seamlessly into moving images. His songs take the listener on a journey. Whether that's a sweaty foot-stomping one or a visceral circumspect one is by-the-by, it's his ability to catch you in the here-and-now, if only for a moment, that punctuates his creative process.  Film making is a passion born from a childhood weaned on American pop culture and movies.  It was honed and refined on the rich juice of early MTV and an education that included MAYA Animation and Film School.  Today that sees Nic working on everything from branded content to documentary and music videos, for his own projects and for other talented artists.

Based in Los Angeles, Dreaming Bull had an infectiously groovy brand of gritty garage soul rock on their debut self-titled LP.  The band formed thanks to drummer Gabe Rowland and guitarist/vocalist Nic Capelle’s mutual love and respect for gospel music and blues-soaked rock, and that appreciation was clear and present in "Feed Us" ... a song that's a ”social critique on pop stars”.  Along with influences by acts like Howlin' Wolf and Muddy Waters, Dreaming Bull managed to put their own spin on things, creating a unique brand of rock for the 21st century.  To match that unique sound, Capelle also sat in the director’s chair for the "Feed Us"  music video — a visual full of imagery that perfectly compliments the raw and real sound that emanated from Dreaming Bull.
